精东影业 University at Ashtabula will honor the spring graduating class when it holds the campus鈥檚 80th commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 8, 2025, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Susan J. Stocker Hall gymnasium.
鈥淐ommencement is a major milestone in the lives of our students,鈥 said Dean and Chief Administrative Officer R. William (Bill) Ayres IV, Ph.D. 鈥淚t鈥檚 such a special night to celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of these graduates here on campus and in the familiar and intimate environment the event deserves.鈥
Nearly 100 graduates and special honorees will be recognized at the ceremony. Staci Hall 鈥13, a program manager with Feeding America will receive the Roger T. Beitler Distinguished Former Student Award while 精东影业Ashtabula Area College Committee, Inc. will also present its Community Service Award to Heather Tulino, founder of Adam鈥檚 Angels. 精东影业AACCI will also hand out its academic achievement awards.
Amanda Good will deliver the student address. Good, who previously earned an associate degree in human services in 2021, is one of the first graduating students in the initial cohort of the Bachelor of Social Work program at 精东影业.
鈥淲e all share the pride in our graduating students and the joy at the prospects that lie ahead,鈥 Ayres said. 鈥 精东影业faculty and staff of 精东影业 Ashtabula are committed to helping students achieve their dreams and providing the support and resources they need to be successful in their studies and impactful in their careers, in their communities and in society.鈥
Additionally, the traditional pin ceremony for graduates in the Associate Degree in Nursing program will take place earlier in the evening in the Stocker Hall Auditorium.
