Three students from the 精东影业 Salem Campus were recognized by 精东影业 University鈥檚 English department during the annual student awards ceremony earlier this month.
Derek Shasteen received the prestigious Anna Ulen Engleman Creative Writing Award for his work of poetry. He is a junior English major, taught by Dr. Craig Paulenich, English professor at 精东影业 Salem.
Receiving the Bedford St. Martin鈥檚 College Writing Essay Awards were Michelle Santini, for placing first in the Tier I level of competition, and Jonathon McCann, placing first in the Tier II level. Santini is a freshman, majoring in nursing, while McCann is a freshman pre-med major. Both were taught by James Winter, English lecturer on the Salem Campus.
