Brother Rogério Renato Mateucci

Brother Rogério Renato Mateucci is a distinguished Marist Brother and educator with a lifelong commitment to academic excellence, leadership and social impact. He holds a degree in pedagogy from Centro Universitário Filadélfia, a specialization in higher education methodology from the State University of Londrina, and both a master's and Ph.D. in Education Leadership, Administration and Policies from Fordham University.

Throughout his career, Brother Rogério has held key leadership roles, including director of Colégio Marista de Londrina, director of Institutional Identity, and pro-rector for Mission, Identity, and Outreach at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), where he now serves as rector. In this role, he leads transformative initiatives that foster innovation in education and strengthen the university’s mission and identity.

Beyond academia, Brother Rogério is deeply engaged with local communities, building bridges between the university and its surroundings through inclusive, socially focused projects that promote well-being and community development.

His collaboration with ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ University embodies his belief in openness, dialogue and international partnership. PUCPR and ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ University have enjoyed a longstanding relationship to cooperate on research, joint conferences, student mobility and the American Academy program. Through these connections, he enriches educational practices and helps create a shared space for global learning.
