Graduates of this program are equipped to work in a variety of settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, independent living communities, retirement communities, senior housing, adult day services, ancillary services, and service delivery agencies.

License Preparation and Credentials: This program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to obtain the Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license, Health Services Executive (HSE) credential, and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) certificate. ¾«¶«Ó°Òµprogram includes CDP training and online practice exams to prepare for licensure.

Application: ¾«¶«Ó°ÒµLTCA coursework is designed to encourage practical application and active learning throughout the curriculum. ¾«¶«Ó°Òµprogram culminates in a 1,000-hour internship spread over two semesters. ¾«¶«Ó°ÒµLTCA program has established strong partnerships with both for-profit and non-profit organizations. ¾«¶«Ó°Òµhands-on internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the field and to establish professional connections.
