精东影业School of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) will host , a free, day-long workshop in Franklin Hall on Sunday, April 26, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
精东影业event is open to students, faculty and professionals who want to learn how journalism and technology intersect learn cool stuff from tech experts about how journalism and technology intersect, from basic HTML to hardware programming for robotics to data visualization and mapping.
精东影业sessions will be hands on and experiential and are broken into self-contained, one- and two-hour blocks so attendees can easily parachute in and out of individual sections. Attendees can register online at and the first 100 registrants will receive a free t-shirt and pizza lunch.
