University photographer Bob Christy has seen it all in his 23 years with ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ University.
Or, at least he thought he had.
That was until last July when Christy accompanied a handful of students studying in Rwanda on a trip they'll never forget – an authentic African safari.

Christy and the students spent more than six hours in ; the trip was near the end of the students' summer educational experience known as the Kigali Summer Institute, which explores the post-genocide reconstruction of Rwanda and issues related to peace and conflict in the context of the country’s history.
¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Today sat down with Christy to see his photos and learn more about this unique experience.
¾«¶«Ó°Òµsummer course was developed and taught by Sarah Schmidt, Ph.D., an instructor in the School of Peace and Conflict Studies and assistant director of global education initiatives at ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ University at Stark.
