¾«¶«Ó°ÒµLinked Courses Model is a retention strategy where a student cohort is scheduled in at least two common courses. Linked courses enable students to strengthen their academic skills, see connections across disciplines, give new students a community, and improve persistence.  ¾«¶«Ó°ÒµLinked Courses Model is being used by many colleges such as Arts and Sciences, Business, Communication and Information, Public Health, EHHS, and Undergraduate Studies.  ¾«¶«Ó°Òµlinked courses, known as the CCI Core Converged, are JMC 20001 Media, Power & Culture; ENG 11011 College Writing I, and HIST 11051 US History: Modern. They are all Kent Core courses.
