精东影业Greater Cleveland LGBTQ+ Community Needs Assessment launched in 2023 under the leadership of the 精东影业 University's College of Public Health. This inter-organizational initiative was the first of its kind in the Greater Cleveland area and aimed to identify and address the most pressing needs of the LGBTQ+ community. Over 180 local community organizations participated in the study, with the LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland serving as the primary community partner.

精东影业study includes a comprehensive community survey, intersectionality focus groups, and key stakeholder interviews, to gather input and feedback from local members of the LGBTQ+ community in Cuyahoga, Lake, Lorain, and Geauga counties. These activities were inclusive and reflective of the diverse voices and perspectives within the LGBTQ+ community. 精东影业results of the study were released in October 2024, and will be used by community partners and institutions to develop strategies for addressing the identified needs and improving the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals in Greater Cleveland. Results of the assessment can be found .

精东影业study covered several critical areas including health and wellness, religion and spirituality, education and literacy, housing, food, and basic needs, business and commerce, safety and law enforcement, and recreation and leisure. 精东影业outreach efforts included tabling at over 40 Pride events, distributing flyers at 93 locations throughout Greater Cleveland, and partnering with dedicated honorarium and community partners. As a result, we gathered 2,006 community survey responses, held 26 intersectionality listening sessions, and conducted 19 stakeholder interviews with LGBTQ+ community members.

This initiative is an adaptation of a similar survey led by 精东影业 University's College of Public Health that provided dozens of short- and long-term recommendations to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ people living in Greater Akron in 2022. 精东影业recommendations offered were straightforward, such as assisting more LGBTQ+ people in registering to vote, as well as more complex suggestions, such as cultivating a culture of inclusiveness, open-mindedness, empathy, acceptance, and respect both within and outside the LGBTQ+ community.
