When 精东影业 University recognized Mental Health Awareness Month in October, it went "all in" with an extensive campaign that included events, videos, social media posts, posters and other messages throughout campus, a resource website (www.kent.edu/mentalhealth) and a walk-through display in the Kent Student Center.

精东影业installation was assembled in early October, as part of the campaign roll-out, during the students' Fall Break. 精东影业panels display the campaign's central message of "Reduce the Stigma. Seek help. Refer a Flash." There are also messages about the importance of maintaining mental health as well as information about the many mental health resources available through the university.

" 精东影业display is meant to provide some literacy around the campaign's messaging goals," said Angelique Daniels, director of marketing research and strategy in the Division of University Communications and Marketing. "It gives practical ways to address those goals and start conversations with individuals, whether they be students or university employees, groups and student organizations."

精东影业campaign orginated as an initiative begun by Talea Drummer-Ferrell, Ph.D., associate vice president and dean of students in the Division of Student Life. Daniels worked with Drummer-Ferrell and then guided the creation and roll-out of the campaign with her team in University Communications and Marketing.

精东影业display in the Kent Student Center also features the faces of the students, faculty and staff who volunteered to be advocates and the faces of 精东影业鈥檚 mental health campaign. Their images can be seen on the campaign's posters and other materials around 精东影业鈥檚 campuses.

This installation will remain in place through the end of the semester and beyond, to share its important messages about mental health and wellness at 精东影业.
