精东影业 University's Brain Health Research Institute recently held its annual Neuroscience Symposium, Conference and Research Exchange.
精东影业two-day event, which took place at the 精东影业 University Hotel & Conference Center, highlighted the research of 精东影业 faculty and students.
Michael Lehman, Ph.D., director of the Brain Health Research Institute, told 精东影业 Today the event has become a vehicle for showcasing the high-level research ongoing at 精东影业.
Keynote speaker for the event was John Gunstad, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences, whose talk, 鈥 精东影业精东影业 Student Life Study: 精东影业Start of a Brand-New U,鈥 focused on the university鈥檚 ongoing student life study, now in its third year.
Among the presenters was Aleisha Moore, Ph.D., assistant professor of biological sciences and the institute's assistant director of neuroimaging collaboratory, who spoke on the topic, 鈥 精东影业role of the brain in polycystic ovary syndrome.鈥
Many attended the student research poster session, which included work from undergraduate and graduate students.
Lehman said the symposium is designed to give students the maximum opportunities to put their research on display and to gain valuable feedback and recognition from faculty and other professionals attending.
