Christopher Darling Art Show in Taylor Hall Gallery
This winter at 精东影业, an art show opened on January 30 in the Taylor Hall Gallery honoring the life and legacy of assistant professor and artist Christopher Darling, who died June 2018. 精东影业retrospective will run until March 19.
精东影业gallery is open Tuesdays through Fridays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Darling began teaching illustration and digital design at 精东影业 in 2014. Outside teaching, he had a thriving freelance career with commissions from Sony, the United Nations and 精东影业New Yorker. He received awards and was honored by 精东影业Society of Illustrators for both his Cleveland drawings and the Hough Mural. As an artist, he was a champion of social justice. His own murals portrayed themes of diversity and emancipation, often surrounding infant mortality among minorities and immigration. 精东影业spring before he died, he managed an art show at 精东影业 featuring the work of incarcerated artists.
