¾«¶«Ó°Òµmission of the Organic Synthesis Facility is to provide researchers with liquid crystalline materials that are not readily commercially available for research purposes. Any interested researcher is welcome to submit a request for materials that have been previously reported in the literature. A fee will be charged to cover the cost of synthesis. For new materials, the facility supervisor and staff will discuss a possible design and synthesis of the materials through a variety of arrangements including setting up a collaborative research project. Purification service of organic compounds is available. Formulation of mixtures is also possible when an exact composition is provided.
