Cognos is a management and business intelligence software suite utilized by university financial staff for analysis and reporting. ¾«¶«Ó°Òµuniversity offers standardized reports via Finance Reports found in Flashline. ¾«¶«Ó°Òµuniversity offers a class for Cognos Basic Report Writing. To request a training email training@kent.edu.  Additional Cognos resources are offered by Information Technology.

Ellucian Banner Finance

¾«¶«Ó°ÒµController's Office provides a detailed guide displaying step by step instructions and screen shots for select finance forms. Recorded sessions from past university Banner trainings are available for viewing. 

Microsoft Power BI

University budget officers are provided access to current and historical financial data for their respective units. Please email the University Budget Office at university_budget@kent.edu if you are a university employee assigned with financial responsibilities for your area in need of access to Power BI.
