This Course, Curriculum, and Laboratory Improvement (CCLI) Phase 2 project will create, assess and disseminate interdisciplinary instructional materials that are designed for use in discipline-specific courses and help students to draw connections between disciplines. ¾«¶«Ó°Òµinitial target courses include chemistry, materials science and biology. ¾«¶«Ó°Òµscope is molecular science, including both the study of how molecular structure and motion lead to emergent macroscopic properties, and the synthesis/engineering of structures with desirable properties. Dissemination to a broad audience will be through the NSDL, including specifically the Materials Digital Library Pathway (MatDL) and ChemCollective subcollections.
