¾«¶«Ó°ÒµMay 4 Visitors Center is located in Taylor Hall and contains a permanent exhibition of the student anti-war movement, historic artifacts, and film about the events of May 4, 1970 featuring interviews with some of the participants and students who were wounded on that day. Outside the Visitors Center, you may take a self-guided tour of the 18-acre site, designated as a National Historic Landmark. ¾«¶«Ó°Òµexperience is powerful and immersive while providing context and multiple perspectives on the May 4 tragedy.

¾«¶«Ó°ÒµVisitors Center follows the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ University academic calendar, and is closed for fall break, winter break, spring break, and all scheduled university holidays. Groups by appointment only. To schedule a class tour, email May4@kent.edu.

¾«¶«Ó°ÒµMay 4 Collection, established by the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ University Libraries in 1970, includes over 300 cubic feet of primary sources related to the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ shootings and their aftermath. ¾«¶«Ó°Òµcollection is open to the public and is used by researchers from around the world.
