����Ӱҵ University's College of Nursing is proud to announce it has been awarded a new grant of $10,000 from , a leading national philanthropic funder of graduate nursing

Donald Wayne McLeod, author of ​Perceptionology 101, spoke in the Kent Student Center Ballroom on Tuesday, Oct. 9, to a crowd of local high school students, ����Ӱҵ University students, staff, faculty and community business members from all over Northeast Ohio. ����Ӱҵevent was a collaboration between LaunchNET ����Ӱҵ; DECA at Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent; and the Hudson, Kent, Streetsboro and Stow-Munroe chambers of commerce.    

John and Fonda Elliot have become the largest donors in ����Ӱҵ University’s history, providing the largest total outright gift of $10 million as well as a $2 million planned gift.

In the past, grocery shoppers were encouraged to follow the outer perimeter and avoid the inner isles to find the healthiest food choices. This old adage no longer applies. Today, bakeries are found on the outer perimeter and many healthy choices, such as quinoa or brown rice, are found in the inner isles.
