精东影业Human Development and Family Studies Program at 精东影业 University now offers a new minor in nonprofit studies. 精东影业nonprofit studies minor will greatly enhance a student鈥檚 employability within the nonprofit sector.
Nonprofit organizations provide valuable services at the local, state, national and international levels. Kathy Bergh, director of the nonprofit studies program, encourages students to add the minor to their course of study.
鈥 精东影业minor in nonprofit studies will enhance the employability of students in many different majors,鈥 Bergh says. 鈥淭hese unique organizations are run differently than for-profit businesses; therefore, they require a distinctive skill set. 精东影业nonprofit field is growing and needs well-trained employees who are prepared to meet their needs.鈥
精东影业program is open to all 精东影业 students and only requires 21-22 credit hours. Many of the classes are available online to easily fit into busy schedules. Currently, students in this minor come from a variety of majors, including business, education, health sciences, general studies, gerontology, political science, psychology, sociology and more.
