September Lunch and Learn: Emotional Roots of Clutter

精东影业personal environment clients create often is a physical manifestation of how they are feeling on the inside. Clutter has emotional roots. What鈥檚 the source of their accumulation? Guilt? Fear? Sadness? Anger? Any of these underlying emotions can result in avoidance, indecision and lack of motivation. Clearing away material items that represent uncomfortable feelings can help clients to address and release them.

精东影业September Lunch and Learn presentation titled 鈥淓motional Roots of Clutter鈥 will take place on Sept. 12 from noon - 1 p.m. in the Heer Hall Training Room.

This month鈥檚 presenter Susan Fee, M.Ed., PCC, works with Lakeshore Educational and Counseling Services. Fee specializes in helping her clients develop their personal and professional communication skills. She appears regularly on WKYC鈥檚 "Good Company" as their relationship expert and is a fill-in co-host for Q104鈥檚 morning show. Her column 鈥淢ommy Matters鈥 appears bi-monthly in Akron Family Magazine.

精东影业Lunch and Learn programs are sponsored by the Division of Human Resources and are held in conjunction with Impact, the university鈥檚 employee assistance program. 精东影业hourlong programs are free and open to faculty and staff. However, seating is limited and reservations are required. Employees will have the opportunity to purchase pre-packaged healthy lunches to enjoy during the presentation.
