Celeste Dawson had made up her mind. She was not going to attend college and that was her final decision. 

Her story could have ended there, but the support of her parents and a program at 精东影业 University opened up a new chapter in her life 鈥� one filled with opportunities she never imagined.

A group of sophomores from Firestone Community Learning Center in Akron  spent a week at 精东影业 University exploring university programs and learning more about college and careers.

With a shared mission to help the youth in Akron earn a life-changing education, 精东影业 University has teamed up with the LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF) to provide LJFF鈥檚 I PROMISE students with increased resources to help prepare them for college and beyond. As part of this long-term partnership, 精东影业 has committed to providing specialized programming to help I PROMISE students remain on target to graduate from high school and fully eligible for the college scholarships that have been committed to them.

A green roof, a geothermal heating and cooling system that is 300 percent more efficient than standard systems, and a 15,000-gallon gray tank that recycles rainwater for irrigation and flushing bathroom fixtures. These are just a few of the sustainability features that helped 精东影业 University鈥檚 Center for Architecture and Environmental Design receive LEED Platinum recognition.
