In fall 2015, Fairless High School students will be within walking distance to ����Ӱҵ University at Stark, shortening the span to their college degrees. On Thursday, May 28, ����Ӱҵ Stark Dean Denise Seachrist and Fairless Local Schools Superintendent Broc Bidlack signed a College Credit Plus agreement. ����Ӱҵpartnership will allow the high school students from the district, located in Navarre, Ohio, to earn university credits toward their college degrees.   ����Ӱҵ University nursing and public health students are learning about how faith based organizations play a key role in providing health care around the world. As part of their degree program, 20 students, along with Ken Slenkovich, assistant dean of ����Ӱҵ’s College of Public Health, attended the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.  This is the 5th year that ����Ӱҵ students have attended the meeting. Through a grant facilitated by Dr. Christopher Post, associate professor of geography, the Dominion Foundation awarded ����Ӱҵ Stark $28,000 for a vertical wind turbine. Wind Turbines of Ohio, located in Alliance, installed the turbine on the southeast side of the campus’s new Science & Nursing Building.
