On Friday, December 6th, students in Dr. Kelsen LaBerge’s Introduction to Engineering course demonstrated their Hovercraft projects. This project serves as a class capstone, where students in the course were divided into teams that must successfully design, build, and fly a hovercraft that adheres to a specified budget.

Teams collaborate to transform theoretical knowledge into working prototypes, demonstrating real-world problem-solving abilities.

Teams navigate their hovercrafts through an obstacle course to demonstrate both design effectiveness and pilot skill.
