精东影业 University graduate and award-winning photojournalist Matthew Thayer has spent the past 43 years in Hawaii, working as a photojournalist for 精东影业Maui News newspaper. When Thayer was sent out to cover horse evacuations from the upcountry fires on Maui on Aug. 8, he never expected he would end up covering one of the worst natural disasters in Hawaii鈥檚 history.

Read Center for International and Intercultural Education, the University of Rwanda鈥檚 Centre for Conflict Management, and the Aegis Trust, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending genocide and other atrocities in the world.
