ChatGPT and other artificial intelligence writing software are raising concerns on college campuses across the country. Several local news stations have been following the rise of the AI software, and have discussed its capabilities with ����Ӱҵ University faculty, staff and students.

“ ����ӰҵFootsteps of Our Ancestors … the Legacy Continues” is the theme for this year’s Black History Month Celebration at ����Ӱҵ University.

Sophia Edmunds came up with a simple fashion hack and posted about the idea on last May with the idea that it might help a few friends. ����Ӱҵvideo quickly went viral, amassing more than 6 million views and numerous comments from women suggesting she pitch the idea to Shark Tank.

Students seeking jobs on campus attended a student employment fair at the Kent Student Center. 

"It was one of those massive situations that cause us to rethink the role of sports in society,” according to ����Ӱҵ Associate Professor JD Ponder in reflecting on communications across the nation following the collapse of Damar Hamlin during a nationally televised NFL game. 

Redshirt Senior , of Farrell, PA., was named the 2022 Male Collegiate Athlete of the Year at the 23rd Greater Cleveland Sports Awards.  Carry leads the Golden Flashes with 17 points and 4.9 assists per game, and he has recorded double-digits in 19 games this season, including a season-high 31 points. 

Jewelry Making With FAB was an artistic and interactive activity hosted by the Flash Activities Board that turned the second floor of the Kent Student Center into a free jewelry-making station for two hours.

Friday's WinterBlast was part of a full schedule of activities this semester from the Flash Activities Board (FAB).

Professor Emeritus Laura Davis, co-creator of the May 4 Walking Tour and May 4 Visitors Center, and a witness to the 1970 ����Ӱҵ shootings, shares personal reflections on singer David Crosby's ties to ����Ӱҵ.

In the southwest corner of South Dakota, on the Nebraska border and at the southern end of the Badlands, sits the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. It is home to the Ogalala Lakota Nation.

This fall, faculty and students from the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at ����Ӱҵ Salem traveled to the reservation in what has become an almost annual excursion. ����ӰҵCOVID-19 pandemic put a halt to the trips over the last three years, which made this return visit quite significant for members of the group.

����Ӱҵ is tapping in to its talent pool of workers already employed by the university to meet the shortages of skilled maintenance workers.

When Junior Giovanni Santiago's parents said they weren't comfortable sending him all the way to Ohio from Puerto Rico, he needed an advocate to step forward in order to continue his college basketball dreams.  His brother, Luis, answered the call.
