Students found unique places to study during the the last warm days of fall. 

����ӰҵSchool of Media and Journalism hosted Brenna Parker, digital director for Vice President Kamala Harris, for refreshments and a discussion with Parker about her journey at ����Ӱҵ and beyond.

����Ӱҵ����Ӱҵ University Golden Flashes family was marking milestones and making memories at Homecoming 2022, held Saturday, Oct. 1. ����Ӱҵ alumni, students, parents, employees and community members donned their blue-and-gold gear and reunited for one of the university’s long-standing traditions.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and Lt. Gov. Jon Husted recently issued a joint proclamation recognizing the impact that employee-owned companies have on Ohio’s economy as well as the work of the Ohio Employee Ownership Center (OEOC) based at ����Ӱҵ University, which requested the proclamation. ����ӰҵOEOC has served as a nonprofit outreach center providing support, resources and assistance to businesses since 1987.

Donating blood is another way Golden Flashes help the community -- and save lives. 

����Ӱҵ's Golden Flashes set records and extended their at-home winning streak to 11 games at Saturday's Homecoming game.

On the eve of Homecoming, people all over campus are getting ready for the weekend celebration. 

EHHS alumnus Erica Maxwell and her teenage daughter, Jessica Alexander, visited the Child Development Center to read from their newly published book, “Beauty With a Birthmark.”

����Ӱҵ“Pride in Kent'' exhibition displays 26 pieces of art created by 11 different LGBTQ+ members and allies. ����Ӱҵexhibition will be on display during Main Street Kent’s Rainbow Weekend, Oct. 7 and 8.

����Ӱҵ is honoring and commemorating the 50th anniversary of Title IX legislation with a year-long celebration, highlighting the success and impact of women's athletics at ����Ӱҵ University.

Bobby Selvaggio, associate professor in the School of Music and director of the jazz studies program, has a storied musical resume. But what he is most proud of are the lessons he can pass on to his students.

����ӰҵKent Student Center is approaching a major milestone, its 50th anniversary, having opened in January 1973 as the largest student union east of the Mississippi River and the sixth largest in the nation. 

Scott Hallgren, associate professor in the School of Media and Journalism, teaches several classes in digital media production with a focus on sound in picture. He recently showcased his skills outside the classroom by composing the score for a local short film while also releasing his first book.

Fashion students from ����Ӱҵ and IFA Paris collaborated to present their first runway show during New York Fashion Week 2022.

Sponsored by the ����Ӱҵ University Alumni Association, the Alumni Awards are the university’s highest alumni honors. Recipients are selected based on their exceptional professional and civic contributions and for their outstanding support of the university.  ����Ӱҵ2022 Alumni Award recipients include six alumni and one student.

Community leaders and visiting VIPs came together to celebrate the Twinsburg Academic Center's 10th anniversary. 

����ӰҵUnited Nations describes International Day of Peace as a day devoted to strengthening the ideas of peace through observing 24 hours of nonviolence and cease-fire. At ����Ӱҵ, students, faculty, staff and alumni celebrated the day with an international soccer tournament.

A variety of food trucks gather in front of the University Library on Wednesdays to supply students, faculty and staff passing by with a quick bite to eat. And the ����Ӱҵ community is taking advantage of it.

A tree growing near the ����Ӱҵ Women's Center is at least 200 years old.
